Google Maps came to the solar system and now allow users to explore the planets and their satellites.

Photos of the planets and their satellites were made by the Cassini spacecraft, launched 20 years ago. During his time in space, Cassini sent about half a million images to Earth. The scientists checked them, corrected them and passed them to Google Maps in the form in which we see them now.
” Explore the icy wilderness of Enceladus, discovered by Cassini … Climb through the dense clouds of Titan, behind which lie the methane lakes. Look in the massive crater of Mimas, at first glance seeming not real – and yet, it’s a real companion, not a space station . ”
Thus, 12 new worlds with detailed maps of Venus, Pluto, Europe, Ganymede, Rhea, etc. appeared in Google Maps. The new function is available only for desktop users, and so far the company has not announced its plans to launch it on mobile phones.
