IT giant managed to bypass its nearest competitor Microsoft, but it was necessary to concede to another Apple, which remained the undisputed leader of this rating for the fifth year in a row.
The difference between the cost of Google and the brands that took the lower positions is great: for this year the company was valued at 6% more than in the previous (142 billion dollars), which is twice the cost of Microsoft. The difference between Apple and Google is not so high, but still significant.
It is worth noting that the growth of Google began to slow: last year its value increased by 11%, and in this – only by 6%. For comparison, this year, Microsoft quickly rose in the rating from 4 to 3 positions.
