Contextual promotion of sites in Google – a new feature in AdWords by Harish Amilineni
Google AdWords has a report on how often ads for your products rank first in the issue. It’s called ‘absolute top impression share’ (The share of impressions at the topmost position).
In order for private optimizers to solve problems related to the publication of advertisements for various products faster, AdWords added the “status report” function.
Impression share at top position
According to data from Google, the announcement occupying the leftmost position in the carousel of the mobile search engine receives three times more involvement than the subsequent ones. This position has the term ‘absolute top’.
To find out how many times one of your ads has occupied the highest position, go to the column ‘abs.top IS’. Moreover, the report shows how many times your advertising could be in this position.
Thus, if your ad ranked at the top 5 times out of 10 possible, your share of impressions at the highest position will be 50%.
Item Status Report
By adding the “Item Status Report” option to other reports on the “Products” and “Product Groups” pages, you can see how often your ad has been approved for display in the search.
With this update, you will be able to see which of your ads do not meet the requirements of Google.
Moreover, on the page devoted to the goods, a new report on the diagnosis of the status of your advertising.
You can click on a product announcement that was not approved to get details on how to fix the current problems.
New features are already available in the new version of AdWords.
